Dear Walden Community, Once again, we hope you enjoy this delightfully eclectic collection of creative work by our high school students. We are intrigued by the genuine, critical, and artistic reflections our students made on issues they face in a world that seems increasingly chaotic and changing. These pieces make you think, feel, wonder, reflect, grow, and long for home. We read about loss, hard lessons, self-discovery, and what makes us feel sane when stress and anxiety threaten to consume. We are grateful that our Walden High School students were willing to share their hearts with us, make us question concepts we take for granted, and tell us some entertaining stories. They've given us 30,000 words in a quirky mix of poems and prose, fictional stories and true ones--stories to laugh to, cry to, and think to. These pages are a celebration of the thoughtful learners we share this school with every day.
